It's a tale as old as social media, yes we are that old! Girl swipes right on boy, boy begins conversation on Christmas Eve, and the rest is history!

Thomas and Maggie began talking in December of 2022. Their first date was at Bad Apple where Thomas, instead of flowers, brought a recipe for one of his many baked goods! This was quickly followed up by a date to their favorite place, the Shedd Aquarium, to ring in the new year. After two years, many baked goods, adventures, new jobs, new apartments, and regular arguments about if the Southside or Northside is better, Thomas proposed!

In December 2024, on a perfectly rainy Saturday among the sparkly Christmas lights at Morten Arboretum, Thomas got down on one knee and Maggie said yes!
